Trustee Application FormVolunteers’ viewI joined Bact as a volunteer driver as I became aware of the mobility issues both my in-laws and parents faced as they aged. Meeting older people I began to appreciate their life experiences, which were invariably tougher than mine. I have also met many younger people who have various mobility issues and have always been impressed by their positive outlook on life, which I hope has been shown in my Bact duties. In summary, it has been a very rewarding experience. Peter I have really missed seeing my passengers during lockdown. They have become friends over the years. I can’t wait to get back out in my car! All journeys were on time, I have no complaints. Long may BACT continue and give other people the service I have been privileged to use, all the best for the future. Just wanted to say how much I appreciated all the help I had from office staff and drivers when I recently had 15 days of treatment at the N&N. Everyone was so kind and helpful. She telephone in to pass on her thanks and gratitude and said Barry was very kind and polite and had the patience of a saint for the length of time he had to wait for them! Jennifer G: DAR is my lifeline! It makes me so humble to be able to use this service. The staff and volunteers are just so kind and helpful. My social life has gone up a notch thanks to DAR.
