We are a largely volunteer organisation providing transport facilities in the Waveney Valley particularly around Beccles and Bungay area and also the South Norfolk area that stretches from Harleston and Hempnall to Brooke, Loddon and Aldeby. The organisation is operated on a non-profit basis with the aim of covering costs, and providing a continuing service in the area. Bungay Area Community Transport was established in 1997.
In 2004, as a result of growing demands from a wider area the name was changed to its present one which recognises that the service extends to, and beyond, Beccles.
Overall strategy and policy making is the responsibility of the committee, which consists of up to fifteen members. New members of the committee are always welcome.
