Wheelchair accessible vehicles

BACT has three wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAV). Vauxhall wav with logo for website

They provide door-to-door rural transport for those who are confined to a wheelchair or cannot transfer from wheelchair to car.  The WAVs seat up to three passengers plus a wheelchair, or five passengers without a wheelchair.

Wheelchairs are safely strapped in by our trained drivers and passenger assistants using a four-point harness system.

In every other respect the WAV service is the same as the car service.
