We had a fantastic response from our survey (67 replies) and our thanks go to you all for helping us distribute and collect from so many passengers. These are some of the main points from those who responded:
- 30% use bact for getting to Hospital appointments.
- 34% use bact for getting to Medical appointments.
- 33% use bact for Shopping
- 15% use bact for getting to Day care
- 30% use our services weekly
- 67% say that transport is vital to them (33% said important)
- 85% said they value the “Door to door” service
- 47% said that Community Transport stops them being socially isolated
- 96% said they were happy with the bact’s booking system
We asked users what they valued about bact’s service and
- 94% said the polite drivers
- 81% said the punctuality
- 72% said the safe driving
When we asked how could we improve on our services – there was not a lot of response, however
- 9% suggested more evening and weekend services.
General comments received included the following:-
- Perfect
- They are very efficient
- Could not be better
- Fares vary which is confusing
- Perfect – it works well for me
- Hard to improve on a very good service. All drivers and helpers should be given medals – they are wonderful.
Our passengers also said:-
- 100% said they would recommend the service to others.
- 100% said that if bact did not exist, it would have some impact on their lives.
